[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] GS Construction has launched a web magazine specializing in the lifestyle of Xi apartments.
On the 11th, GS Construction announced that its premium apartment brand Xi will operate a brand web magazine called "BEYOND APARTMENT." This signifies highlighting apartments as a platform that captures valuable lives by seeking visions and values beyond the mere meaning of apartments.
The content focuses on advanced thoughts about life and will be produced both as a web magazine and occasionally in offline formats. Web magazine content can be received as a newsletter by applying through the homepage.
Currently, since the brand launch in 2002, approximately 240,000 households reside in 266 Xi apartment complexes nationwide. BEYOND APARTMENT will detail residents' lifestyles and share the value of the Xi brand.
The sections consist of Interviews and Editions. Interviews discuss the lifestyles of residents living in Xi and the values of apartments from the perspective of those who create Xi. Editions include lifestyle proposals from Xi’s viewpoint and infographics covering global residential life changes. Rather than just providing the latest trends or interesting content, the focus is on the stories of people living in apartments and those building them, showcasing their lifestyles. Additionally, it features insights based on the brand’s philosophy and values to propose new ways of life.
The first interviewees are Kim Hee-jung, CEO of the childcare service "Jjaegak Alligator" to be applied at Songdo Xi Crystal Ocean; Choi Joong-ho, CEO of "Choi Joong-ho Studio," responsible for the integrated design of Xi’s auxiliary facilities; and Kim Hae-yeon, a resident of Gyeonghuigung Xi. The editions cover topics such as "Terrace," for those needing the comfort of nature brought into their homes in this era, and "Lighting," about regaining a healthy daily life. A GS Construction official stated, “The opening of the web magazine will further expand the space for communication with consumers,” adding, “We will develop the magazine to capture the value of life beyond apartments through the stories of people living within the Xi brand and the values it pursues.”
