[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Ford Sales Service Korea announced on the 6th that it will launch the premium model of its flagship sport utility vehicle (SUV), the 'New Ford Explorer Platinum.'

The New Explorer Platinum is a premium model of the Explorer that upgrades the functionality, space utilization, and driving performance of the existing Explorer 2.3 Limited with enhancements to the powertrain, design and materials, and convenience features. The Ford Explorer has been the best-selling imported SUV for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019. Following the launch of the Explorer Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) last August, Ford Korea plans to expand consumer choices by releasing the premium model 'New Ford Explorer Platinum.'
