[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Hwang Seong-woo, President of Samsung SDS, presented "Enhancing Customer Value through IT and Solution Technology" as the New Year's goal.

In his New Year's message on the 4th, President Hwang stated, "2020 was an unprecedentedly difficult year, and the business environment in the new year is also expected to be challenging."

He continued, "Nevertheless, all companies and institutions will continuously pursue changes utilizing IT technology," adding, "Samsung SDS will strive even more to contribute to customers' changes through IT and solution technology and to increase the outcomes and value resulting from those changes."

Meanwhile, President Hwang was appointed as the new CEO of Samsung SDS on the 2nd of last month. He joined Samsung Electronics' Advanced Institute of Technology in 2012 and has served as head of the Nano Electronics Lab, head of the Device & System Research Center, and director of the Samsung Electronics Advanced Institute of Technology.
