In his New Year's message released online within the company on the 1st, Chairman Cho stated, "Regardless of the era or society, what sustains a company is the trust and love of customers, but currently Hyosung's brand is not recognized as the best in the market."
Chairman Cho said, "Hyosung must instill in customers a firm belief that it is an honest brand that always produces reliable products and an innovative brand that provides differentiated value rather than competing on price," adding, "That trust must spread not only to customers but also to the end consumers."
He continued, "To achieve this, fundamentally, we must have product quality, service, and stable supply capabilities that are superior to competitors," emphasizing, "To customers, Hyosung must be a brand that does not compete on price but creates and provides new value."
Finally, Chairman Cho highlighted, "Last year, five Hyosung companies achieved A grade or higher in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluations," and urged, "Let us strive even harder to lead environmental protection, ethical management, and transparent management, pursue mutual growth with partner companies, and become Hyosung that receives love and trust from the public."
