Uljin-gun Receives 'Best' in Gyeongbuk Province Evaluation for 'Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention Project'... Awarded for 4 Consecutive Years

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Uljin County announced on the 29th that it won the Grand Prize in the 'Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention and Management Project' category of Gyeongbuk Province, marking the fourth consecutive year of receiving the institutional award.

The Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention and Management Project is a program that detects and registers patients with hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia early based on health indicator results that identify regional health issues and conditions.

Despite the COVID-19 situation, Uljin County Public Health Center has continuously conducted education and promotional activities on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases through measures such as providing USB educational videos to kindergartens, promoting via cup holders at small businesses (coffee shops), and one-on-one telephone monitoring.
