The Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention and Management Project is a program that detects and registers patients with hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia early based on health indicator results that identify regional health issues and conditions.
Despite the COVID-19 situation, Uljin County Public Health Center has continuously conducted education and promotional activities on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases through measures such as providing USB educational videos to kindergartens, promoting via cup holders at small businesses (coffee shops), and one-on-one telephone monitoring.
Jeon In-sook, Director of Health Promotion, pledged, "During these difficult times due to COVID-19, we will develop non-face-to-face programs for chronic disease prevention and strive even harder to improve residents' health."
