Dunlop Sports Korea is intensifying its efforts in social contribution projects.
On the 23rd, it signed an extension agreement for the 'Good Consumption GOOD_BUY' campaign with the international relief and development NGO Good Neighbors. This is an effort to create a society where everyone lives well together through a culture of donation. The company's products or services are designated as 'good products,' and a portion of the sales proceeds is used for welfare projects. The target products include the Srixon Z-STAR series golf balls, scheduled for release in 2021, as well as the XXIO Eleven and XXIO X.
The raised donations are used to address issues such as poverty, disease, and abuse among marginalized children. Dunlop Sports Korea also raised funds through entry fees and mulligan coupon sales at the only father-son golf tournament in Korea, the XXIO Father and Son Team Classic. CEO Hong Soon-sung said, "It is a difficult time due to the prolonged economic downturn caused by COVID-19," adding, "We are pleased to be able to convey warm hearts."
