Jadam Chicken's New Signature Menu 'Saenggrana Chicken'

Chicken franchise Jadam Chicken announced on the 21st that it has launched a new menu item, ‘Saenggrana Chicken,’ and started selling it at all franchise stores. This ambitious product is the brand’s second signature menu following the ‘Maepchelin Chicken,’ which was released in June and gained great popularity.

Saenggrana Chicken is a ‘sweet cheese-type’ chicken developed to target customers who enjoy sweet and mild flavors. During the cooking process, highly favored ingredients such as cream cheese, gourmet butter, and honey were harmoniously blended to create a luxurious taste, and the final topping uses Italian Grana Padano cheese. The product name ‘Saenggrana’ is derived from this cheese. In internal tastings for product development, it was evaluated as a ‘combination of ingredients that simply cannot taste bad.’

For customers who still expect a spicy flavor, a tangy sauce is also provided. The ‘Hot Mayo Sauce’ that comes as a basic accompaniment to the chicken is a spicy chili sauce that perfectly complements the mild taste of Saenggrana Chicken.

Jadam Chicken stated that they paid special attention to capturing customers with the appearance of Saenggrana Chicken. When opening the chicken box, a scene is created where grated cheese is sprinkled like snow over the richly fried chicken. Just as the previous Maepchelin Chicken received high marks from customers for its visual appeal, Jadam Chicken expects Saenggrana Chicken to receive similar positive responses.

Saenggrana Chicken is released in two types: fried chicken made with animal welfare-certified raw meat and boneless chicken made purely from thigh meat.

Along with the new menu launch, a new advertising campaign featuring exclusive model actor Jo Jung-suk has also begun. The story cleverly emphasizes that Saenggrana Chicken is a premium chicken made with real Grana Padano cheese. Additionally, an SNS campaign featuring Saenggrana Chicken as a cute character is being conducted on Instagram and Facebook.
