[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] SBI Savings Bank announced on the 22nd that, in collaboration with Nowon District Office and Community Chest of Korea, it held a Love Kimchi Delivery Ceremony to help underprivileged neighbors in Nowon District have a warm winter.

The Love Kimchi Delivery Ceremony was conducted non-face-to-face at both the SBI Savings Bank headquarters and Nowon District Office to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Started in 2017, the Love Kimchi Delivery Ceremony is SBI Savings Bank’s representative social contribution activity, now in its fourth year. Every year, the carefully prepared Love Kimchi is delivered to households so that neighbors in need around us can have a warm winter.

CEO Jung Jin-moon stated, “This year, with COVID-19 and the economic downturn, everyone is facing difficulties, and underprivileged neighbors around us are in even more urgent need of help. At times like this, it is the duty and role of companies to carefully look around and extend a helping hand. We will strive to fulfill our corporate social responsibility by supporting underprivileged neighbors to live better lives and to set an example in the savings bank industry.”
