KT Telecop Launches Cloud-Based Video Security Product in Collaboration with KT

Renewal Release of Three Types of Cloud-Based Intelligent Video Security 'GigaEyes i-Type'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Security specialist KT Telecop announced on the 15th that it has renewed and launched three types of the 'GigaEyes i-type' series as joint products with KT to target the cloud-based intelligent video security market.

The newly released products are GigaEyes iSlim, iView, and iSpecial, which store and analyze videos collected from IP cameras installed at business sites on KT's intelligent video security platform, providing customers with high-definition real-time video monitoring.

By eliminating the hardware video recorders previously placed at customer facilities and instead storing videos remotely on the KT cloud, there is no risk of video loss or damage due to theft or fire. Additionally, various security technologies such as video data encryption have been applied to enhance stability.

KT Telecop plans to embark on full-scale digital innovation through synergy with KT, starting with the launch of intelligent video security products. While previously focusing on traditional physical security services centered on dispatch, it plans to secure the intelligent video security market by providing AI video analysis and differentiated care services in the future.
