Home Stay Menu Development Teacher Club Gifts 'Tteokguk Rice Cake Set' of Neighborly Love to Gyeongsan City

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gyeongsan City, Gyeongbuk announced that the Home Stay Menu Development Teacher Club (President Imi-ran) visited City Hall on the 14th and donated 30 sets of Tteokguk rice cakes (Tteokguk rice cakes, eggs, kelp packs) worth 750,000 won, asking to deliver them to neighbors in need.


The Home Stay Menu Development Teacher Club consists of 10 active nutrition teachers from elementary and middle schools in Gyeongsan, Yeongcheon, and Gyeongju. They are developing and promoting various easy-to-make fusion menus for students who are staying at home due to online classes caused by COVID-19.


President Imi-ran said, "The members gathered their hearts to use the prize money received through club activities for a more meaningful cause, and we hope the donated items will be delivered well to a good place."


Lee Dong-yeol, Director of Welfare and Culture Bureau of Gyeongsan City, said, "There must have been many difficulties in existing tasks due to COVID-19, but we are grateful that you delivered the prize money received as a result of efforts to improve students' health to be used in a good place."
