[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gimcheon University (President Yoon Ok-hyun) announced on the 11th that it will establish a Department of Social Welfare in the Graduate School of Social and Cultural Studies starting in 2021 and begin recruiting new students.
The university explained that the Graduate School of Social and Cultural Studies will open a master's program in Social Welfare (evening classes) from March 2021 to meet the local community's desire for the establishment of a social welfare department and the academic demand to strengthen the expertise of social welfare personnel.
This master's program allows completion of the degree regardless of undergraduate major, so anyone with a bachelor's degree can apply.
