[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) will hold the ‘2020 Dongjak Cooperation Online Performance Sharing Meeting’ on the 11th.
This performance sharing meeting was prepared to share excellent cases of public-private cooperation promoted this year and to spread the culture of cooperation. Due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, it will be held as a 90-minute online live broadcast starting at 2 PM.
Any residents who are engaged in or interested in public-private cooperation can participate. Those who wish to participate in real-time communication can apply via the person in charge by phone or email, or through the QR code on the web poster.
The main programs include ▲Sharing promotion activities ▲Learning about Dongjak Cooperation ▲Announcement of the ‘2020 Dongjak Cooperation Excellent Case Contest’ ▲Performance. The ‘Sharing Dongjak Cooperation Promotion Activities’ segment will screen promotional videos including ▲the concept of cooperation ▲agenda selection and policy-making process guidance ▲participant interviews.
‘Learning about Dongjak Cooperation’ is a time for participants of the performance sharing meeting to understand and learn about Dongjak Cooperation through quizzes. If participants answer the quiz questions correctly in the open chat room, a small prize will be given.
Next, the results of the ‘2020 Dongjak Cooperation Excellent Case Contest’ held last month will be announced.
After the first round of written evaluation by the contest judging panel and the second round of online pre-electronic voting, a total of seven cases were selected. Winners will receive certificates, prize money up to 1,000,000 KRW, and separate incentives.
The ‘2020 Dongjak Cooperation Online Performance Sharing Meeting’ will conclude with the winners’ presentations of excellent cases and a sand art performance.

Following the business agreement to activate the Dongjak-gu?Soongsil University Dongjak Cooperation Youth Network, the district preemptively awarded commendations to three students who participated in the ‘Soongsil University INNO-SCHOOL Project’.
Hyunho Kim, head of the Planning and Coordination Division, said, “Cooperation means residents participating in the entire policy process for the development of the local community. We hope this performance sharing meeting will contribute to spreading the culture of cooperation and provide many residents with the opportunity to directly experience cooperation.”
The district will hire a Cooperation Coordinator in the public-private cooperation field by the end of this month to professionally promote cooperation tasks.
The Cooperation Coordinator will be responsible for ▲building partnerships and acting as a catalyst and coordinator in the cooperation process among citizens, among government bodies, and between citizens and government ▲setting directions for cooperation policies and advising on overall public-private cooperation projects ▲coordinating the establishment and execution of community innovation plans.
