Goyang-si Completes 'Daeja-dong Saewon Chwirak Road'... Development Expectations Rise

[Asia Economy Reporter La Youngcheol] With the completion of the 'Daeja-dong Saewon Residential Area Road (Soro 3-198 Line) Construction Project' in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, which connects to Tongil-ro, expectations for the development of the area are rising. The city plans to continuously identify and open roads in the underdeveloped residential districts of the region.

On the 9th, Goyang City announced, "The 'Daeja-dong Saewon Residential Area Road Construction Project' has been completed, providing local residents with a smooth traffic environment. Additionally, by establishing infrastructure in the residential area where the development restriction zone has been lifted, we expect to contribute to balanced regional development."

The 'Daeja-dong Saewon Residential Area Road,' completed at the end of last month, has been expanded to about 6 meters in width, twice as wide as before. The 120-meter-long road pavement and installation of rainwater and sewage pipes have been completed, resulting in a noticeably more pleasant living environment in the surrounding area.

The city invested 712 million KRW in the 'Daeja-dong Saewon Residential Area Road' project, which had been very narrow at about 3 meters wide, causing significant inconvenience to local residents. Construction began in July this year and was completed in five months.
