Live Broadcast on June 16 at 10 AM via YouTube iGangseoTV... Healing Programs Including Talk Concert and Cultural Performances for High School Seniors
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) will hold the ‘2020 High School Senior Youth Dream Jump Festival’ for high school seniors on the 16th.
The district prepared this event to encourage high school seniors who took the college entrance exam under the unprecedented situation of COVID-19 and to support their new challenges and dreams.
In particular, this event will be held online to protect the examinees from the rapidly increasing COVID-19 cases again and to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the community.
The event, which will be held for two hours from 10 a.m. on the 16th through the official Gangseo-gu Office YouTube channel iGangseoTV, is packed with a talk concert and cultural performances for high school seniors.
First, under the subtitle ‘Passionately Goodbye!’, viewers will watch interview videos of high school seniors sharing stories about their past school life and new dreams, providing a time to empathize with a hopeful future.
Following this, comedian Onami, famous from KBS Gag Concert, will give a lecture at the ‘Talk Concert’.
Under the theme ‘Distance is Untact, Emotion is Contact’, she will deliver a hopeful message to students about to start a new chapter in life as a life mentor for high school seniors.
After the lecture, there will be a real-time communication session through comments to address teenagers’ concerns and questions.
Next, the comedian couple Hong Yun-hwa and Kim Min-gi, who are gaining popularity through various entertainment programs such as Comedy Big League, will relieve the examinees’ accumulated stress with their comedy performance ‘Take a Break! You Did Well Show’.
Along with this, under the subtitle ‘Joy Comes at the End of High School Senior Year’, a pre-recorded dance performance video by a local youth dance club will add excitement to the event.
The event is open to all high school seniors, and participants can join by accessing the Gangseo-gu Office YouTube channel iGangseoTV.
Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, “This event was prepared to encourage our students who have been exhausted from exam preparations amid the difficult situation of COVID-19,” adding, “We will always support the dreams and challenges of examinees together with the residents.”
