[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Woongjin ThinkBig announced on the 7th that it will newly launch ‘SmartAll Middle School,’ a comprehensive AI-powered learning program for all middle school subjects that can manage everything from school grade management to Daechi-dong academy lectures at once.
SmartAll Middle School perfectly manages school grades through subject lectures in Korean, English, Math, Social Studies, History, and Science tailored to each school, problem-solving, and AI learning analysis. After learning concepts through lectures and quizzes, the AI identifies weak areas. Then, it supplements these vulnerable areas to thoroughly check school grades.
During midterm and final exam periods, it also highlights key content and expected exam questions for each subject. Special vacation lectures for skill improvement are also provided. By simply entering school and grade information, a learning curriculum aligned with textbooks and class progress is automatically set up for convenience.
A unique advantage of SmartAll Middle School is the provision of lectures and materials from famous academies in Daechi-dong, the education hub. Woongjin ThinkBig explained that it has partnered with three leading academies in Daechi-dong: the math-specialized academy ‘Gipeun Saenggak,’ the ‘Big 3’ English academy ‘ILE,’ and the science-specialized academy ‘Mirae Tamgu,’ offering lectures and materials from current instructors identical to offline classes.
In particular, the AI-based learning management system that supports self-directed learning is a strength of SmartAll Middle School. Learning plans are established based on the ‘Hon Gongryeok Measurement Test’ developed by Dr. Noh Gyusik, an authority on self-directed learning diagnosis. Additionally, systematic learning management is available through university student mentoring video coaching and educational consulting. In the AI study room, which simulates an online reading room environment, students can study together with friends and cultivate self-directed learning habits suited for the era of independent study.
Woongjin ThinkBig is holding a special event to celebrate the launch of SmartAll Middle School. Members who join SmartAll Middle School by the 14th will be entered into a draw to receive Apple wireless earphones AirPods and Apple wireless chargers.
A Woongjin ThinkBig official said, “Even if students cannot attend school or academies, or do not live in Daechi-dong, SmartAll Middle School enables them to study everything from school grades to top-tier lectures on their own,” adding, “We hope that despite the challenging environment caused by COVID-19, students will study freely without being restricted by region or location with SmartAll Middle School, improve their grades, and develop self-directed learning habits.”
