Johyun, Interviewed Despite COVID-19 Test? "Not True" Direct Clarification

[Asia Economy Reporter Nahana] Girl group Berry Good's Jo Hyun directly clarified that the claim she attended an interview without informing the movie promotion company despite undergoing a COVID-19 test is "not true."

On the 5th, Jo Hyun stated on her Instagram, "Recent articles have falsely reported that I attended a movie promotion interview despite having taken a COVID-19 test."

She explained, "I finished the movie promotion interview around 4 PM and was on my way home when I received a call from my agency advising me to get tested for COVID-19. Immediately after the call, I went to Gangnam Public Health Center for the infection test, received a negative result, and am currently self-isolating for two weeks."

She added, "As a citizen of the Republic of Korea, I am faithfully following the quarantine guidelines. I will pray for the health of medical staff, those currently hospitalized, and those in isolation."

Earlier, Jo Hyun conducted an interview with reporters on the 1st to promote the recently released movie 'Yongrugak: City of Ruthlessness.'

The movie promotion company claimed they were not informed on the 1st that Jo Hyun had undergone a COVID-19 test, leading to criticism that Jo Hyun's side caused a risk of a COVID-19 cluster infection.

However, Jo Hyun's side asserted that they learned about a trainee from the agency testing positive only after finishing the interview with reporters on the 1st, resulting in conflicting statements between the two parties.
