Kindergarten Teacher Found to Have Added 'Mosquito Repellent and Surfactant' Ingredients to School Meals

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] It has been revealed that a kindergarten teacher put a liquid containing mosquito repellent and surfactant ingredients into the kindergarten meals.

On the 4th, KBS reported that the police requested the National Forensic Service to analyze the contents of the medicine bottle in which the teacher had stored the liquid, and were informed that it contained mosquito repellent and surfactant ingredients.

According to the police, the kindergarten teacher claimed that the liquid in the medicine bottle was just water.

Earlier, the teacher was caught on the kindergarten's closed-circuit television (CCTV) last month taking a medicine bottle out of an apron and putting the liquid into the meal containers.

The police have booked the teacher and are investigating after securing one year’s worth of kindergarten CCTV footage.
