[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 4th, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, awarded certificates of commendation to four outstanding volunteers in the communication room of Yeongdeungpo District Office in celebration of 'Volunteer Day.'

The Mayor's Award was given to volunteer Lee Jaegwan from Koscom and volunteer Ahn Sangwoo from Korea Electric Power Corporation Namseoul Headquarters, while the District Council Chairman's Award was presented to volunteer Jeong Youngim from Daerim 2-dong Volunteer Association and volunteer Lee Yumi from the university student planning volunteer group Kkumteul.

Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "The reason Yeongdeungpo District has been able to develop into its current state is thanks to the dedication and exemplary leadership of volunteers who have selflessly taken on any difficult tasks," adding, "We will continue to do our best to establish and spread a culture of volunteering through various support and rewards for volunteers."
