Construction of Access Road for Designated Cultural Property 'Gwangsan Nongak Transmission Education Center'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Min Hyung-bae, a member of the National Assembly (Democratic Party of Korea·Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Eul), announced on the 4th that he secured 500 million won in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to resolve local issues.
The secured special grants will be used for the construction of an access road to the Gwangsan Nongak Transmission Education Center, a designated cultural asset of Gwangju Metropolitan City.
The Gwangsan Nongak Transmission Education Center was selected for construction in 2017 as a national subsidy project by the Cultural Heritage Administration, but the narrow access road has caused inconvenience to residents and visitors.

Assemblyman Min said, "I am pleased to report to the citizens the details of securing special grants to resolve local issues," and added, "I will continue to do my best for the development of the Gwangsan area and to alleviate citizens' inconveniences."
Meanwhile, Assemblyman Min secured a total of 3.374 billion won in special grants this year, including 2 billion won from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for the installation of a soundproof tunnel in the Sinchang and Singaji districts (1 billion won each), and 874 million won in special grants from the Ministry of Education, including 544 million won for restroom renovation at Cheongok Middle School in Cheomdan 2-dong.
