[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] On the 4th, Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) signed a business agreement at the Seoul Regional Headquarters of Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX) to cooperate in the management of national and public assets, spatial information fields, and to expand overseas advancement.
This agreement was prepared to share the accumulated experience and know-how in national and public asset management and spatial information construction between KAMCO, the dedicated agency for national asset management, and LX, a specialized institution for land information construction, and to promote the expansion of overseas advancement based on this.
Through the agreement, the two institutions will mutually cooperate in ▲ sharing information for efficient management of national and public assets and activation of spatial information construction and utilization ▲ marketing, project discovery, and execution for joint overseas advancement ▲ employee exchange and sharing of work know-how, and will jointly promote the expansion of overseas projects in the national asset management sector in the future.
In particular, through strategic overseas advancement partnership, LX plans to build spatial information such as cadastral surveying and cadastral information registration in target countries, and KAMCO will transfer systematic national asset management know-how and systems based on this, opening a new chapter of collaboration for public institutions' overseas advancement.
Moon Sung-yoo, President of KAMCO, said, “I hope this business agreement will be an opportunity to lead international standards in the utilization of spatial information and national asset management,” and added, “KAMCO will continue to lead collaboration among public institutions and create various cases recognized overseas.”
