According to Honam University on the 3rd, Sowgyou opened the non-face-to-face popup restaurant from the 23rd to the 27th of last month, taking orders for 10 products developed in cooperation with five participating companies (Pakuyah, Hangadaejigomtang, Mapo Galmaegi, Simintongdak, Yangseonbi).
Lee Yeojin (1st year), who received the food gift, said, "Due to COVID-19, I hardly had any interaction with seniors, but I am very grateful and thankful to receive such a delicious food package," and added, "There is probably no other department that takes care of juniors like this," sending a thank-you photo as proof.
Park Sung-je, president of the 4th Sowgyou, said, "As a startup club under the LINC+ project group, it has been composed of students from the Department of Food Service and Culinary Science dreaming of preliminary startups since 2017, achieving results in producing student entrepreneurs," and added, "I feel proud that the warm affection of seniors seems to have been well conveyed to juniors."
Park Moon-su (4th year), a student entrepreneur and the first president, showed kindness by donating products purchased from the non-face-to-face popup restaurant operated by juniors to the Shin-ae-won Child Welfare Center in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
CEO Park said, "Since August last year, I have been volunteering every month, and this time it is more meaningful to make a donation through products made by juniors."
