[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] On the morning of December 3rd, when the 2021 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) is held, temperatures nationwide are below freezing, resulting in cold weather.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the morning temperatures will be similar to the average (-6 to -4°C) but 2 to 4 degrees lower than the previous day.
As of 7 a.m., the morning low temperatures are -0.9°C in Seoul, 0°C in Incheon, -4.2°C in Dongducheon, -6.1°C in Paju, -2.9°C in Wonju, -5.1°C in Chuncheon, -1.5°C in Daejeon, 1.9°C in Gwangju, and 2.6°C in Daegu.
With slightly strong winds, the wind chill temperature is expected to be 1 to 3 degrees lower.
During the day, temperatures will not rise much, staying around 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, so test-takers should leave home dressed warmly. Since ventilation will be conducted every hour, it is advisable to wear thin layers of clothing.
Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'normal' and 'good' nationwide.
