[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 2nd at 3 PM in the reception room that it held an awards ceremony for the 'Eco-friendly Green Apartment Making Contest' promoted by 31 apartment complexes.
The participating apartments practiced 12 green initiatives including rainwater utilization, recycling, and fine dust reduction.
Outstanding apartments selected were: Grand Prize - Gyobang Sangnok; Excellence Awards - Gaenari 1st Complex, Bongnim Humansia 1st Complex, Hyundong LH; Encouragement Awards - Bongnim Humansia 2nd Complex, Jaeun 3 LH Cheonnyeon Tree, Gyeonghwa-dong Doosan We’ve, Dogye Humansia, Centum Paradia, Yangdeok Woosung, and 11 other efforts recognized.
The city presented mayoral commendation plaques to 3 Green Leaders who served as mentors for making green apartments and 10 residents.
Heo Seong-mu, Mayor of Changwon City, said, "We will do our best to establish the green apartment making initiative as the best policy nationwide."
