Free Shipping Support Every Year Since 2014
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] CJ Logistics announced on the 2nd that it will provide free dedicated delivery for over 1,000 boxes containing all items used for the Salvation Army charity fundraising.
This delivery is from the Salvation Army Headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, where the items are usually stored, to over 330 Salvation Army posts nationwide. CJ Logistics will also cover the fees and wages paid to the delivery drivers, trunk vehicle drivers, and loading/unloading workers who directly participate in the delivery. Additionally, throughout this month, they will handle extra deliveries for the replacement and repair of worn or damaged fundraising items.
A CJ Logistics official said, "We started free dedicated delivery by finding what we can do well so that the beautiful sound of bells sharing hope at the end of the year can resonate nationwide," adding, "We will take the lead in fostering a donation culture that delivers hope to neighbors in need."
Meanwhile, CJ Logistics has been providing free delivery support for items needed in the Salvation Army charity kettle fundraising activities every year since 2014. This year, they began delivery after taking out related items stored in the warehouse on the 16th of last month for repair and packaging.
