Jung Hojin, the chief spokesperson of the Justice Party, said in a briefing on the afternoon of the 1st, "We in principle respect the court's decision," and added, "We hope the Ministry of Justice's disciplinary committee will uphold the cause of prosecutorial reform and impartially judge Prosecutor General Yoon's disciplinary issue by considering the overall situation so far."
Earlier, the Seoul Administrative Court's Administrative Division 4 (Presiding Judge Jo Mi-yeon) approved the injunction application filed by Prosecutor General Yoon, who opposed Minister Chu's order to suspend his duties. Accordingly, Prosecutor General Yoon returned to work, arriving at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office around 5:10 p.m. that day.
