Gyeongsan-si Launches 'Hope 2021 Sharing Campaign'... Two-Month Fundraising Event to Help Neighbors

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] On the 1st, Gyeongsan City in Gyeongbuk held the launch ceremony of the 'Hope 2021 Sharing Campaign' in the yard in front of the city hall, attended by Mayor Choi Young-jo, Park Mi-jung, Chairperson of the Public Officials' Union, Kim Kyung-hwa, Chairperson of the Women's Association Council, and Kim Se-jun, Head of the Gyeongsan City Fruit of Love Sharing Volunteer Group.


Under the slogan "Continue Hope through Sharing," Gyeongsan City plans to carry out a fundraising campaign for 62 days until the end of January next year through various methods such as street campaigns, distribution of promotional materials, and non-face-to-face fundraising.


Mayor Choi Young-jo urged participation in the fundraising campaign, saying, "Although all citizens are facing difficulties due to COVID-19, let us overcome this hardship with one heart through the launch ceremony and extend warmth to our marginalized neighbors."
