[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Shinsegae Group announced on the 1st that Jung Eui-cheol, Executive Director in charge of Support and Development at Shinsegae Simon (age 55), has been promoted to Senior Executive Director.

Senior Executive Director Jung joined Shinsegae in 1987 and has held various positions in human resources, management, and marketing at Shinsegae International. In 2005, he worked as the team leader of the Shinsegae Chelsea Development Team. After moving to Shinsegae Simon in 2012, he served in roles including Support, Operations, and Support/Development.
