Incentives Including 20 Million Won for Improving Employment Environment Provided

According to Wando-gun on the 1st, the ‘Excellent Job Creation Company Certification Project’ hosted by Jeollanam-do is a program that discovers companies contributing to job creation and employment stability, providing funds for employee welfare improvement and incentives necessary for business operations. This year, 20 companies were selected.
The evaluation criteria included job creation aspects such as the number of employees increased in the past year, youth employee growth rate, and additional employment plans, as well as employment stability aspects such as employment retention rate over the past two years, the proportion of regular employees in the past year, employee welfare, and compliance with labor standards law. The final selection was made through document and on-site evaluations and the provincial job policy review committee.
Despite the employment downturn caused by COVID-19, Nuri English Cooperative Corporation achieved the remarkable feat of hiring more than three new employees and being certified as an excellent job creation company.
In particular, it is significant that it is the ‘No. 1 Excellent Job Creation Company in Wando-gun’ in Jeollanam-do. The certification period for the excellent company is two years starting from January next year.
Nuri English Cooperative Corporation will receive 20 million won in funds to improve the employment environment and will also receive a certificate and plaque at the Jeollanam-do Job and Investment Attraction Festival scheduled to be held in December.
Additionally, benefits such as preferential loan limits from the Jeollanam-do Small and Medium Business Development Fund, additional points for youth retention incentives, and exemption from local tax audits for three years can be received.
Lee Ki-seok, Director of the Economic Transportation Division, said, “We are honored that an excellent job creation company has emerged in our county, and we will actively promote and support local companies that play a significant role in job creation and revitalizing the local economy to be selected as excellent companies more frequently.”
