[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Shinsegae Group announced on the 1st that Moon Sung-wook, CEO of Shinsegae Tomboy (48), has been appointed (concurrently) as CEO of Signite Partners.
CEO Moon worked as a deputy manager in investment planning at SoftBank in 2000 and joined Shinsegae in 2004 as head of the planning team in the planning department. In 2005, he served as executive director in charge of strategic business at Shinsegae I&C and held positions such as head of the Strategic Business Division. In 2011, he was responsible for strategic management and overseas business at Emart's China headquarters. In 2014, he held roles including head of Global Fashion Division 1, head of Global Division 1, and head of Business Planning Division at Shinsegae International. In 2017, he was appointed vice president and CEO of Shinsegae Tomboy while serving as head of Global Division 1.
