A-Route participates in 'GITEX 2020'... "Expanding global market through online exhibition"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] A-Route announced on the 1st that it will participate online in the Middle East's largest information and communication exhibition, 'GITEX 2020,' held in Dubai for five days from the 6th to the 10th.

At this exhibition, A-Route plans to introduce new POS and mobile printer products applicable to the retail and logistics sectors to key stakeholders in the Middle East region.

GITEX is the largest information and communication exhibition in the Middle East, with over 4,500 companies from more than 100 countries worldwide participating annually. Participants can check global trends across the latest IT industries, including retail, logistics, mobile communications (mobile, apps, optical fiber, 5G), banking systems, satellite communications, computers, electronics, and robotics.

This event will be held both online and offline simultaneously due to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), with over 1,200 companies from more than 60 countries participating. Global companies such as Microsoft, Nokia, Dell, Lenovo, and Huawei will participate offline, while major domestic companies including A-Route, KT, Bigsolon, and POSBANK will participate online.

An A-Route official stated, "A-Route supplies mobile printers to the Landmark Group, the largest retail company in the Middle East and Africa with over 2,300 stores worldwide," adding, "Following our participation in 'CAIRO ICT 2020,' we will participate in this exhibition to further expand our market in the Middle East and Africa regions."

He continued, "As global consumer trends shift to contactless methods due to COVID-19, demand for mobile printers is increasing, especially in the logistics and transportation sectors, so we expect to receive significant interest from buyers at this exhibition," and added, "To discover global clients online, we plan to participate online in the world's largest international retail exhibition 'NRF 2021,' scheduled to be held in New York, USA, early next year, following GITEX."
