GT2 Pro Battery Lasts 14 Days... 100 Exercise Modes
Huawei Watch Fit Supports Oxygen Saturation and Sleep Monitoring
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Huawei is launching two smartwatches in South Korea.
On the 30th, Huawei Consumer Business Group announced that it will release the 'Huawei Watch GT2 Pro' and 'Huawei Watch Fit' through online open markets and other channels. Huawei has been releasing wearable products in South Korea since last year, and this is the third time.
The Huawei Watch GT2 Pro features a circular frame made with a sapphire glass dial and a titanium frame, providing high durability. Thanks to Huawei's self-developed Kirin A1 chip with ultra-low power technology, it can be used for up to 14 days. Even when using call notifications, heart rate monitoring, music playback, and sleep mode, it can last up to 14 days. It comes with leather bands and elastomer straps.
Optimized for exercise, the smartwatch supports over 100 workout modes. For example, when skiing at a ski resort?cross-country skiing, skiing, or snowboarding?it records comprehensive data such as heart rate, average speed, maximum slope, track, and distance, allowing users to manage their workouts systematically. In workout mode, it can record data including exercise time, calories burned, heart rate, workout results, and recovery time.
It also has health monitoring features. It supports blood oxygen saturation measurement. It can measure oxygen saturation not only in daily life but also in high-altitude areas, serving as an indicator of respiratory health. The sleep measurement function monitors sleep depth, real-time heart rate, and sleep breathing, and evaluates sleep quality through big data analysis. It also provides feedback on stress levels. It records step count, calories burned, and the number of times the user stands up, and sends reminders to stand and move if the user has been sitting for an extended period.
The Huawei Watch Fit is a cost-effective smartwatch with a 1.64-inch rectangular AMOLED display. It weighs 21g and offers straps in four colors: Mint, Orange, Pink, and Black. The battery can last up to 10 days. It supports fast charging, reaching 70% in 30 minutes and providing a full day of use with just 5 minutes of charging.
The Huawei Watch Fit comes equipped with 96 workout modes, including 12 easy-to-follow animated exercises and 44 standard workout functions. It also supports heart rate, oxygen saturation, and sleep monitoring. It alerts the user if the heart rate exceeds the maximum average and analyzes sleep quality by recognizing sleep stages in four levels.
The two Huawei smartwatches will be sold starting today through online shopping malls such as 11st, Gmarket, Auction, Coupang, Danawa, and Naver Shopping. Prices are ▲Huawei Watch GT2 Pro at 369,600 KRW ▲Huawei Watch Fit at 149,600 KRW.
