[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] Donald Trump, the President of the United States, on the 29th (local time) reaffirmed his refusal to accept the election results through his first interview after the presidential election, stating, "My thoughts will not change even after six months."
In a Q&A session with reporters for the first time since the election ahead of Thanksgiving, he said he would leave the White House if President-elect Joe Biden wins the Electoral College vote, but continued to claim that the election results were manipulated.
However, President Trump expressed his intention to continue the election-related litigation but was skeptical about whether the Supreme Court would accept the cases.
In a phone interview with Fox News that day, President Trump expressed strong dissatisfaction with the courts. The Trump presidential campaign has filed dozens of lawsuits in key battleground states to block the counting of mail-in ballots and delay the certification of state vote results, but has not achieved any success.
That day, Wisconsin confirmed Biden's victory through a recount of ballots. The Washington Post reported that the recount results in Wisconsin made it clear that President Trump's attempt to overturn the election results had failed.
President Trump said the Supreme Court really needs to make a big decision, but he gave the impression that it is difficult to have high expectations regarding the prospects.
President Trump said, "The problem is that it is difficult to get into the Supreme Court," adding, "If I just get in there, I have the best lawyers who hope to fight through litigation."
President Trump emphasized, "I will use 125% of my energy," and "My mind will not change even after six months." He also claimed, "There was massive fraud."
