[Asia Economy Reporter Son Sun-hee] President Moon Jae-in visited a test site on the 29th to check the COVID-19 prevention preparations ahead of the 2021 College Scholastic Ability Test, which is just four days away.

At 2 p.m. that day, President Moon visited Osan High School in Seoul to inspect the site and review the prevention measures. The Blue House explained that this visit was arranged to alleviate the concerns of 490,000 test-takers, parents, teachers, and the public amid the nationwide spread of COVID-19 and to create conditions for safely conducting the exam.

President Moon listened to explanations regarding the movement paths of test-takers under self-quarantine on the day of the exam. Partitions were installed inside the exam rooms and waiting rooms, and disinfectants and protective equipment for supervisors were prepared.

He then moved to the school library to check the test site preparations via video. He connected with Yangwoon High School in Busan, where general students will take the exam, and Mokpo Medical Center in Jeonnam, where a hospital test site is being prepared, to hear about the prevention measures. President Moon inquired whether there were any difficulties in preparing for the exam differently from previous years and urged everyone to do their best to ensure the safety of the test-takers until the very end.

President Moon encouraged the test-takers who may have had an especially difficult time this year due to COVID-19 to continue preparing steadfastly for their dreams and goals, and expressed gratitude for the sacrifices and efforts of the faculty and staff participating as supervisors.
