[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] The '2020 Asia Artist Awards (2020 Asia Artist Awards)' experienced a server crash due to a surge in visitors, causing a delay in the broadcast. The organizing committee announced that refunds will be issued to viewers who purchased tickets.
On the 28th, the AAA organizing committee posted a notice titled "LiveX Refund and Broadcast Time Delay (Starting at 7 PM) Emergency Announcement."
They added, "We apologize for the inconvenience caused by server instability due to a sudden surge in LiveX access," and stated, "Viewing is possible after purchasing through MyMusicTaste, and full refunds will be issued for purchases made on LiveX."
Furthermore, they noted, "To allow LiveX ticket purchasers to buy viewing tickets on MyMusicTaste, the broadcast time will be delayed by one hour and is scheduled to start at 7 PM."
Originally, the '2020 AAA' was scheduled for live broadcast on the 25th but was changed to a pre-recorded format due to the resurgence of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the elevation of social distancing to Level 2.
Accordingly, on the 28th, the main awards ceremony was planned to be broadcast for about 4 hours and 30 minutes from 7 PM to 11:30 PM, starting with the red carpet at 6 PM via LiveX and MyMusicTaste, but the broadcast was delayed due to the server crash.
