In Gimhae, a man in his 40s from Changwon and a man in his 60s from Gimhae, contacts of case 571 (male in his 60s), who tested positive on the 26th with an unknown infection route, were infected and classified as cases 593 and 594.

The number of confirmed cases related to the Jinju Neighborhood Leader Training increased by two. For the first time, infections that had only occurred within Jinju appeared in the nearby Sacheon area. Four related confirmed cases have already occurred in Jeju, where the neighborhood leaders had visited.

A man in his 50s from Sacheon, contact of case 551 (male in his 60s), was infected and classified as case 585, and a woman in her 50s from Jinju, contact of case 536 (male in his 50s), was confirmed positive and classified as case 595. The number of confirmed cases related to the Jinju Neighborhood Leader Training has increased to 61 from the 24th to the morning of this day.

In Sacheon, the wife in her 50s of case 578 (male in his 60s), who was confirmed the previous day with an unknown infection route, was infected and classified as case 586.

Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the province has increased to 592 (217 hospitalized, 1 deceased, 344 discharged).
