[Today’s Weather] Clear and Cold... Feels Like Temperature Drops Sharply

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) stated, "Some areas will experience rain or snow," adding, "Morning temperatures in the central inland regions, Jeonbuk, and inland Gyeongbuk will drop to around -5 degrees Celsius, making it very cold."

Although the weather will generally be clear nationwide, from the evening, Gangwon Province, the west coast of Chungnam, Jeolla Province, and Jeju Island will be cloudy, with some rain or snow in the northeastern part of Gangwon Yeongdong.

Precipitation amounts are expected to be △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 5~30mm △Jeju Mountain area less than 5mm. Expected snowfall includes △Jeju Mountain area 1cm, among others.

Morning low temperatures by region are forecasted as △Seoul -4°C △Chuncheon -5°C △Gangneung 2°C △Daejeon -2°C △Cheongju -2°C △Daegu 0°C △Gwangju 2°C △Jeonju 0°C △Busan 3°C △Jeju 8°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 4°C.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to be △Seoul 3°C △Chuncheon 4°C △Gangneung 8°C △Daejeon -2°C △Cheongju 5°C △Daegu 7°C △Gwangju 7°C △Jeonju 6°C △Busan 10°C △Jeju 10°C △Ulleungdo and Dokdo 6°C.

Fine dust levels will be at a 'Good' level nationwide.

The KMA urged, "In the Gyeongsang coastal areas (excluding the northern Gyeongbuk East Coast) where a dry weather warning is in effect, the atmosphere will be very dry, so please be especially cautious to prevent various fires such as wildfires."
