Housing Finance Corporation to Hold 'HF Bogumjari Flower Seed Sharing SNS Event' Until December 3
Plans to Create 8,000㎡ Canola Flower Field in Spring 2021 and Open to Local Residents

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced on the 27th that it will hold the ‘HF Bogumjari Flower Seed Sharing SNS Event,’ distributing 14kg of sulfur cosmos seeds harvested from the ‘HF Bogumjari Flower Garden’ in Munhyeon Financial Complex, Nam-gu, Busan, to citizens.

This event, running until December 3, was planned to deliver messages of comfort and encouragement to citizens exhausted by COVID-19. By accessing the HF Corporation’s official Facebook page and participating, about 200 people on a first-come, first-served basis will receive two packets each.

President Lee Jeong-hwan said, “Although everyone is going through a difficult time due to COVID-19, I hope citizens can regain some vitality in their daily lives through the cosmos flower seed sharing.” He added, “The corporation will continue to actively strive to enhance citizens’ green welfare and create social jobs.”

Meanwhile, HF Corporation has created the ‘HF Bogumjari Flower Garden’ to provide social jobs to local self-support workers such as basic livelihood security recipients and low-income groups. Additionally, the existing HF Bogumjari Flower Garden area will be expanded from 3,000㎡ to 8,000㎡, and a canola flower walking path will be established and opened to local residents in the first half of next year.
