IBK Capital Donates 50 Million Won for Meal Support to Low-Income Families through WeStart

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Capital, a subsidiary of IBK Industrial Bank, announced on the 27th that it has donated 50 million KRW in meal support funds for children from low-income families to WeStart.

WeStart is an organization that conducts projects to improve the human rights and welfare of children from low-income families in need, implementing welfare programs to help these children achieve stable social settlement.

This donation was made with the purpose of supporting meal expenses for children from low-income families who have to eat alone after school, to take care of their health, and to help foster a sense of community through warm meals shared with friends.

An IBK Capital official stated, "We have continuously carried out social contribution activities for socially vulnerable neighbors such as people with disabilities, disadvantaged children, elderly living alone, single mothers, and youths in need. Going forward, we plan to further expand our social contribution activities that coexist with marginalized groups in our society alongside the company’s development."
