The meeting was conducted in strict compliance with the government's COVID-19 prevention guidelines, including minimizing the number of attendees, wearing masks, and installing partitions. The meeting, co-hosted by SBC and the Ombudsman, was attended by Kim Hak-do, Chairman of SBC, Park Ju-bong, the Ombudsman, and eight small and medium venture business owners from the Gyeonggi region, including Lee Hyun, CEO of Synic Solution.

The participants proposed ▲ revision of the designation of hand sanitizers as quasi-drugs ▲ expansion of corporate tax reductions due to factory relocation to provinces ▲ expansion of the application scope of CCTV metal pole direct production confirmation standards ▲ improvement of capacity limits when packaging refrigerated and frozen foods together.

The CEO of Company A, which is about to launch a smartphone-based electric vehicle charger, said, "Recently, order volumes have increased, and securing operating funds is necessary," adding, "We request the cooperation of the Ombudsman and SBC to secure funds for responding to additional orders, such as prompt payment through shortening the inspection period by related ministries."

Chairman Kim Hak-do responded, "We will cooperate with the Ombudsman to actively recommend related ministries to consider shortening the inspection period," and added, "SBC will consider expanding financial support to underpin management stability and growth."

Ombudsman Park Ju-bong also stated, "We will consult with related ministries on the issues raised at the meeting to prepare realistic and industry-responsive policy alternatives and lay the foundation for corporate growth through continuous regulatory innovation."
