On the 25th, Korea National Oil Corporation, in collaboration with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority, gifted free masks and hand sanitizers to citizens visiting the Ulsan and Busan Haeundae Vehicle Inspection Centers.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Korea National Oil Corporation (President Yang Soo-young) jointly gifted free masks and hand sanitizers to citizens visiting the Ulsan and Busan Haeundae Vehicle Inspection Centers together with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority on the 25th.
The event was conducted so that citizens visiting the inspection centers could take the provided quarantine supplies contactlessly. The quarantine supplies will be distributed contactlessly at the two vehicle inspection centers until the stock runs out.
Along with distributing quarantine supplies, the Oil Corporation also introduced the Opinet service, which provides nationwide gas station price information, and conducted promotional activities to guide vehicle drivers in making reasonable gas station choices and purchases.
The Opinet smartphone app allows users to check gas station prices and location information, and provides fuel price-related information such as gas stations by route, region, and highway.
Kim Kyung-min, Head of Management Support Division at the Oil Corporation, who participated in the event, said he hopes that local residents will benefit not only from the infection prevention campaign but also from the easy use of Opinet to find cheaper gas stations, helping household budgets as well.
