BTS, the first Korean pop music group to be nominated for the Grammy Awards, expressed their hopes of winning. On the 25th, when they were announced as nominees, their agency Big Hit Entertainment stated, "Being nominated makes us want to win and we are excited." They said, "We are indescribably happy as it feels like the fruit of our efforts. It is amazing and moving," and added, "We thank ARMY for giving us the opportunity to be nominated. Thinking that our fans will be happy makes us even more joyful."

Right after the nomination announcement, they also wrote on their official Twitter, "Thank you to everyone who listened to and empathized with our music during difficult times." They emphasized, "Above all, it is ARMY who made the miracle of 'Grammy nominated artists' happen. We are always grateful and love you." They then left a message in English expressing gratitude to the Recording Academy for this great honor.

On BTS’s Twitter, a video was posted showing V, Jungkook, RM, and Jimin watching the live broadcast of the Grammy Awards nomination announcement. All of them watched the broadcast anxiously, and when 'Dynamite' was called as a nominee, they jumped up from their seats and shouted with joy. V tilted his head in disbelief, and Jungkook exclaimed, "Brilliant."

On that day, 'Dynamite' was nominated for the 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' category at the 63rd Grammy Awards. This is the first time a Korean pop music artist has been nominated for a Grammy. If BTS wins the award, they will achieve a 'grand slam.' They have won the Billboard Music Awards for four consecutive years and the American Music Awards for three consecutive years, both considered among the top three music award shows in the U.S. This follows the global success of their album 'Map of the Soul: 7' and the rise of 'Dynamite' to number one on the Billboard main singles chart, solidifying their status as top artists in the pop market.
