[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] SK Magic announced on the 25th that a total of seven products, including the All Clean Air Purifier, Self-Direct Water Purifier, and Double Flex Induction, were selected as winners of the ‘Pinup Best 100’ at the ‘2020 Pinup Design Awards.’
The Pinup Design Awards is one of the top three domestic design competitions, hosted by the Korea Industrial Designers Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The All Clean Air Purifier won the main prize. It is the first product in Korea to apply eco-friendly synthetic resin (PCR-ABS), pursuing both environmental friendliness and a luxurious design. This product features a detachable washable structure, designed to always be used as clean as a new product.
Regarding the Self-Direct Water Purifier, SK Magic explained that it was highly evaluated for emphasizing the purifier’s core function of cleanliness by minimizing decorative elements and incorporating a white body and stainless steel material to embody a distinctive design identity.
An SK Magic official stated, “We consider this result to be achieved through the harmonious combination of innovative technology prioritizing customer value and differentiated design philosophy. We will continue to strive to establish world-class design competitiveness that satisfies customers’ sensibilities based on innovative technology.”
