[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 24th that it will operate a Midwinter Shelter at all 145 branches in the Gwangju, Jeonnam, and metropolitan areas until February 26 next year.
Since 2018, the Gwangju Bank Midwinter Shelter has been operated annually as a space to escape the cold wind caused by cold waves and heavy snow, serving as a refuge for customers and local residents to spend a safe and healthy winter.
The Gwangju Bank Midwinter Shelter is available to anyone during branch operating hours and will be operated in strict compliance with the 'COVID-19' social distancing guidelines.
Additionally, essential winter items such as portable hot packs and KF94 masks approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety will be provided free of charge.
Park Ki-won, Head of Sales Planning at Gwangju Bank, said, “We hope that the Gwangju Bank Midwinter Shelter, opened for the healthy winter of local residents, will be a warm refuge where visiting customers and local residents can briefly escape the cold. We will do our best to protect customers' health and safety by thoroughly implementing COVID-19 prevention measures.”
