Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae Supports New Housing for Vulnerable Families in Yeonggwang-gun

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Nodongil, Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 24th that through the 2020 project 'Housing New Construction Matching Grant Support Project,' it provided comfortable and pleasant homes to crisis families in Yeonggwang-gun.

This newly constructed house was completed by collecting donations and goods from individuals, companies, and organizations within Yeonggwang-gun, targeting single-parent crisis families living in poor housing conditions. The completion ceremony was held on the 23rd.

The event was attended by Nodongil, Chairman of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea; Kim Junsung, Mayor of Yeonggwang-gun; Choi Eunyoung, Chairman of Yeonggwang County Council; Kim Donggyu, CEO of Seongwoon General Construction; Lee Myeonghyeon, Head of Regional Cooperation at Hanbit Nuclear Power Headquarters; Joo Hyosun, Secretary General of Bobae-roun House, and 50 others.

Chairman Nodongil said, "I hope the families moving in will blossom hope in their new homes," and added, "I ask for your participation in the Hope 2021 Sharing Campaign starting in December to continue giving hope to neighbors."

Meanwhile, the 'Housing New Construction Matching Grant Support Project' is a program that provides comfortable and cozy homes by rebuilding old houses of families in difficult living conditions with funds raised through a 1:1 matching system linked to local community resources.
