[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus announced on the 23rd that it held the volunteer event "Sharing Love Packages Season 7," which supports groceries for elderly people living alone, in collaboration with the partner company council U+ Win-Win Growth Board.
About 30 volunteer employees from LG Uplus and partner companies that are members of the U+ Win-Win Growth Board participated in the event to prepare love packages containing groceries including rice for elderly people living alone. These packages will be delivered to 600 households of elderly people living alone through the Elderly Living Alone Comprehensive Support Center, a corporation commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The U+ Win-Win Growth Board is a win-win growth council composed of 26 partner companies of LG Uplus. It shares systems and implementation details related to win-win growth and serves as a communication bridge between LG Uplus and its partner companies, as well as among the partner companies themselves.
Lee Jung-gil, Vice President of Ubiquoss and chair company of the U+ Win-Win Growth Board, said, "The love package sharing volunteer activity, which LG Uplus and its partner companies participate in every year, is a meaningful time to share interest and love with neighbors and to look after socially marginalized groups."
