'Wanna One Former Member' Yoon Jisung to Complete Non-Return Discharge Next Month... "Currently on Final Leave"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Yoon Ji-sung, a singer formerly of Wanna One, is currently on his final military leave and will be discharged soon without returning to the base.

Yoon Ji-sung's agency, LM Entertainment, stated on the official fan cafe on the 20th, "Currently, Yoon Ji-sung is on his final military leave, and according to the guidelines to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection, he will be discharged on December 13 without returning to the unit."

The agency added, "We sincerely thank all the fans who have waited with unwavering love for a long time, and we ask that you warmly welcome Yoon Ji-sung as he safely completes his military service and returns."

Yoon Ji-sung debuted as a member of the project group Wanna One, formed through Mnet's 'Produce 101' Season 2 in 2017. He has been active as a solo singer and musical actor and enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the army in May last year. Serving in the military band, he also appeared in the army's original musical 'Return' last year.
