[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] A video capturing the moment construction materials fell onto a parked passenger car in an urban area of Russia's Far East has gone viral on social networking services (SNS).

On the 20th, RIA Novosti and other agencies reported that the day before, a car parked in a parking lot near an apartment building in Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, was completely destroyed by falling construction materials.

In the video posted on YouTube and other platforms, the car owner is seen brushing snow off the car when suddenly something falls from the sky, prompting them to quickly move away.

Shortly after, a large iron plate-like object fell onto the car, and this moment was fully captured on video. It was a dangerous moment where the driver narrowly avoided serious harm by dodging in time.

Local police are investigating the cause of the construction materials falling onto the car.

Meanwhile, since the 19th, Primorsky Krai has experienced heavy snowfall and strong winds, causing various safety accidents across the city.
