Professor Jeong Seokhee of Chonnam National University Awarded Paper Prize by the Korean Society of Environmental Engineers

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwanwoo] Chonnam National University announced on the 20th that Professor Jeong Seokhee of the Department of Environmental Energy Engineering received a paper award at the '2020 Korean Society of Environmental Engineers Domestic Academic Conference' held recently at Jeju Shinhwa World.

Since 2018, Professor Jeong has served as the deputy editor-in-chief of the Korean journal of the Korean Society of Environmental Engineers, and this year has been active as the deputy editor-in-chief of the English journal, publishing numerous excellent papers.

In particular, the Korean comprehensive review paper summarizing about 180 papers was selected as an 'outstanding paper,' and to internationalize the Korean journal, an English comprehensive review paper was published.

The paper published in the English journal has been the most cited among papers published by Koreans since 2018 to the present.

Professor Jeong expressed his thoughts, saying, "I want to share this honor with Bonyeong Gu, student Nishit Salva, Professor Soumya Pandit, who conducted research together to publish many excellent papers."
