Sysgear Showcases AI Infrastructure Application Services at '2020 Gwangju ACE Fair'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Sysgear announced on the 17th that it exhibited infrastructure for data service development at '2020 Gwangju ACE Fair,' the largest domestic comprehensive cultural content exhibition held from the 5th to the 8th at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju. Sysgear's exhibit was installed at the Intel Network booth under the theme 'AI Journey with Intel.'

This exhibition was held under the core themes of data and artificial intelligence with the slogan 'Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5th Generation Mobile Communication (5G), Opening a New Era of Content!'

Sysgear showcased two self-developed application services that accelerate data AI training and inference computations in on-premises and hybrid environments by integrating Intel's next-generation memory technology, 'Optane Data Center Persistent Memory.' These included deep learning applications such as 'AI Fashion Merchandising' and 'Smile with Intel Game.'

In particular, AI Fashion Merchandising collects and analyzes extensive fashion data in real-time with high capacity in an in-memory environment using web and camera inputs, then processes the data on the server side based on the Cafe2 framework and RsNET50. By demonstrating three-dimensional output of clothing trends according to user requests, it presented a faster and more accurate direction for AI service development.
