[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Doosan announced on the 13th that it will additionally acquire 43,604,952 shares of Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction for approximately 420.4 billion KRW.
After the acquisition, Doosan's stake in Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction will be 42%. The scheduled date for the stock acquisition is the 11th of next month.
Doosan stated the purpose of the acquisition as "enhancing the corporate value of affiliated companies and maintaining control, etc."
